![]() ![]() I don't want this game to be whatever RS does or has. I know a lot of steam players seem to have come from RS but ugh, can we please stop all the comparison, what if's Hc should do this like RS etc etc. Honestly I'm kind of over so much discussion about RS, we all havent' played that or want to. Especially considering the direction rs is heading I promise you Eldvin will become better than rs. Rs started the same way - unpopular and rough around the edges. Its inevitable and to say it wont would be pure ignorance. I like this game but it will NEVER be able to surpass RS. This means that they can throw the game into the mobile market the moment smartphones are able to handle RS's memory, which will be any time now.Īnd if you think Eld beat RS by making a desktop version of the game, you're wrong: RS has had that for years and Jagex didn't need to go through Steam to do it. RS simply has too much publicity Eld doesn't have a chance of surpassing it and HC is too slow to develop the game enough to ever surpass it.ĭo note that as of now RS has remade the game in HTML5. HC is lucky if a thousand people throw money at Eld. It doesn't matter if you like Eld more than RS - millions of people have thrown their money at RS. RS3 surpasses Eld in every area that matters enough to get players and money. Oh, and the starting quest.I feel it would be more appropriate to introduce players to all the skills and combat styles first instead of how it is now.Įdited by BloodBath, 15 November 2014 - 07:34. ![]() That is how you properly introduce a game to new players and this game possesses the potential to topple Runescape. Think for a second.where did you start out in Runescape? You most likely played f2p for a couple months to a year before dedicating yourself to the game.obviously because f2p had restrictions.similar to how eldevin restricts your gold limit. Most dont have the skills like farming, herblore, seperate combat skills and the dedication required nor do they have the f2p and p2p aspects. I've played Runescape since 2003 and quit in 2012 luckily before eoc for reasons related to changes of staffing and the overall direction of the company, since then i've looked for a new game to play.I've tried MANY and none come close to the POTENTIAL that this game possesses. However I, as well as many of you have realized Eldevin will be the new face of browser mmo's for years to come, if the devs are truely dedicated to the cause and listen to players and are willing to adapt and learn with us. As many of you recall Runescape was easily the most popular browser mmo ever. ![]()
